After being closed for several years, TA’s Office of Alumni Affairs and Development was reopened in 2006 in an effort to create a connection between the alumni and the school. While we definitely need your financial support, that is certainly is not the only reason this office exists. We are here to help you stay connected to your school, teachers, friends and former classmates.
Our publication, TA Tidings, is a great place to share your stories, advertise your business and more. We’d love to celebrate your success! We’d also love to help you find ways to become involved with your alma mater. From volunteering to answer telephones and stuff envelopes to mentoring a teenager -- there is much you can do to make a difference in the life of a Takoman.
If you’d like to help with the upcoming Alumni Weekend, the golf tournament or any other function, please contact me today.
Are you looking for an alumnus? To protect the privacy of our TA family, our office does not give out anyone’s contact information. The only exception to this rule is when a class representative is planning a honor year class reunion. If you’re looking for a friend, you are welcome to register with the Takoma Academy Alumni Association (not affiliated with this office) and use their online database for searches. You may also send your name and contact information to me, and if possible, I will pass that along to the person you are looking for.
